Aida

Neves

B.P.H.E., B.Ed., E-RYT500, CYT

Teaching and facilitating in the Toronto and York Region areas of Ontario since 1979, Aida brings to her yoga classes a wealth of experience and training, all focused on assisting others in the achievement of health: personal, environmental and global.

Aida Neves follows the Kripalu tradition of yoga, with years of intensive study that enables her to be a yoga teacher with a difference. Her skill as a yoga therapist, educator of yoga teachers, school teacher, outdoor educator, background in martial arts and long-standing yoga lifestyle, sets yogini Aida's classes apart from those in other yoga studios.

Kripalu's gentle tradition based on caring, non-judgmental self acceptance, allows the practitioner to ultimately be guided by his or her own inner knowing, both on and off the yoga mat. Aida weaves her experiences with the compassionate approach of Kripalu Yoga into every class, retreat and workshop. Practicing and studying yoga since 1979, Aida founded Sunlilyoga in 1997.

A teacher of yoga teachers and beginning students, she guides her students to be truly alive, from moment to moment, and to see the world around them with appreciation and wonder.
